Calcite is a calcium carbonate mineral, has various crystal shapes, and their aggregates can be clusters of crystals, or they can be granular, massive, fibrous, stalactite, or earthy. Calcite is the main mineral of limestone and marble, and has many uses in production and life. We know that limestone can form karst caves, and stalactites and stalagmites and white marble in the caves are made of calcite.
Calcite powder can be generally divided into coarse powder processing (0-3MM), fine powder processing (20 mesh-400 mesh), and ultrafine powder deep processing (400 mesh-1250 mesh) and micro powder processing (1250 mesh-3250).
Raw Calcite material should be crushed by primary crusher to 15mm-50mm then can enter the mill.
The small pieces of Calcite after crushed are sent to the buffer silo by the bucket elevator, then goes into the grinding chamber of the mill by the vibrating feeder before grinding mill.
The powdered material is separated by the classifier, the unqualified powder will be returned to the grinding mill chamber for re-milling.
Fine powder complies with the fineness and airflow go through the pipe into the dust collector for separation and collection. The finished powder will be transmitted to bucket elevator by screw conveyor and lifted into Silo for storage by Bucket elevator , then packed uniformly by powder tanker or automatic packing machine.
