LM series sand powder vertical mill, also known as pre-grinding mill, is a large-scale high-efficiency and energy-saving sand powder preparation product developed by Liming Heavy Industry based on its nearly 40 years of R&D and manufacturing experience for the special mortar industry. It is professionally used for the production of 0-1mm (20-200 mesh) graded fine aggregate for special mortar and 1.18-2.36mm graded medium and fine aggregate for ordinary dry mortar. Structural principle:
LM sand powder vertical mill is mainly composed of grinding roller device, grinding disc device, pressure device, reducer, motor, housing, thin oil lubrication station, hydraulic station and other parts.


Working Principle:
 
The main motor drives the grinding disc to rotate through the reducer, and the material falls from the discharge port to the center of the grinding disc. Under the action of centrifugal force, the material moves evenly from the center of the grinding disc to the edge. When passing through the crushing roller area on the grinding disc, it is crushed by the grinding roller. Large pieces of material are directly crushed, and fine particles are squeezed to form a material bed for inter-particle crushing. The crushed material continues to move to the edge of the grinding disc until it is thrown out of the grinding disc by the centrifugal force of the grinding disc, falls into the lower cavity of the mill, and is scraped into the discharge port by the scraper installed at the bottom of the grinding disc. The material is sorted in the external sorting or separation equipment, and the large pieces or large particles that exceed the particle size of the finished product are recirculated into the mill for re-crushing until the appropriate particle fineness is reached.

Process flow:
 
The raw sand and gravel enter the lower hopper, are sent to the bucket elevator by the belt conveyor and enter the silo, and then are sent to the sand powder vertical mill main machine for grinding by the quantitative feeder. The qualified materials that meet the particle size are scraped by the scraper installed at the bottom of the grinding disc into the discharge port and output outside the machine. The external sorting machine selects the fine sand of each interval level and sends it to the finished product warehouse as the finished product. Unqualified large particles re-enter the vertical mill and are crushed again until they reach the appropriate particle size. At the same time, the fine powder is collected by the dust collector and sent to the finished powder warehouse for storage via the screw conveyor and elevator.
